About Black Fly Roasting Co.a little history...BRETT JOHNSON, FOUNDER & OWNER: In 1995 I set out to create the ultimate caffeinated coffee. With the help of friend Nancy Foster-Wolf of Maine Exiles fame, a long and fertile winter, a tiny amount of money, and a crazy sense of humor, Black Fly Roast "for the Buzz that just won't go away!" was born.Black Fly Roasting Co.'s mission is to provide our customers with excellent coffee and products, while keeping kind to the earth and all those we share it with. It is our goal to be a strong contributor to our community. We support local organizations that extend respect and enrichment to all people. I am exceedingly grateful to the love and support of my Mom and Dad, my Aunt Connie who keeps the books and my partner Tim who reminds me that it's "not so bad having all the great coffee you can drink."
